Edmond program grows knowledge-based businesses
As technology continues to advance, the importance of knowledge-based business intensifies. The increased significance of knowledge capital, such as R&D and employee talent, has grown faster than tangible capital, which includes buildings, transportation and equipment. The Edmond Economic Development Authority realized the need to support a program that would foster knowledge-based businesses; therefore, the EdmondHQ program was formed in 1995.
