EEDA RELEASES 2016 EDMOND ECONOMIC ABSTRACT

The Edmond Economic Development Authority (EEDA) recently released the 2016 Edmond Economic Abstract.

The 10-page economic profile, published annually by the EEDA and sponsored by Francis Tuttle Technology Center, contains demographic information including population, income levels, cost of living, crime figures, traffic counts and more.

The 2016 Economic Abstract also features information on Edmond’s residential and commercial real estate markets, tax collections and education information.

“The Abstract is an essential tool for anyone promoting the Edmond area as well as for those considering a move to Edmond,” said Janet Yowell, executive director of the EEDA. “The information provided in the Abstract plays a significant role in a company’s decision to expand their business in Edmond.”

The information in the 2016 Economic Abstract is carefully researched by the EEDA from sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau, ESRI, C2ER, the Oklahoma Tax Commission and more.

Copies are available at the Edmond Economic Development Authority, 825 E. Second St., Suite 200. The Economic Abstract is also available on www.eeda.com.
