The Edmond Economic Development Authority (EEDA) recently featured The Meat House in the October 2019 issue of EEDA’s newsletter, The Arrow. The Arrow is a monthly newsletter emailed to approximately 2,000 subscribers. Featured businesses also receive a commemorative arrow to recognize their participation.

“The featured business portion of The Arrow was created as an outlet for the EEDA to further support and promote the Edmond business community,” said Janet Yowell, EEDA executive director. “The Meat House provides a great product and service to the community and we were pleased to feature the shop in The Arrow.”

The Meat House is a locally-owned butcher shop and boutique grocery store, specializing in local products. The store opened in Edmond more than 10 years ago at 2249 W. Danforth Rd., where it continues to operate today.

“Edmond has been the perfect home for The Meat House. The community has embraced what we have to offer and appreciates the caliber of meats and products we carry,” said Stephanie Hill, general manager of The Meat House. “The Arrow has created a great opportunity to share our story with the community.”

The EEDA exists to offer resources that stimulate the growth of Edmond’s economy by creating and maintaining an optimum environment for both new and existing businesses, offering services that facilitate the growth and expansion of those businesses and generating opportunities to increase the sales tax base of the city of Edmond.
