The Morrison Group, an Edmond‐based branding and distribution company that serves retailers across America with branded foodservice supplies, held a ribbon cutting and open house Thursday, Jan. 30 to celebrate the company’s recent relocation to 3400 S. Kelly as well as its successful acquisition of Creative Container, Inc. The move provided an additional 60,000-square-feet of space to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

“We are pleased to celebrate The Morrison Group’s expansion into approximately 100,000-square-feet of space,” said Edmond City Councilmember and Edmond Economic Development Authority Board Trustee Nick Massey. “The direct and indirect impact of this local company will likely total more than $4.5 million annually.”

The Morrison Group is comprised of two business segments: Morrison Cup Solutions and Morrison Point of Purchase. Morrison Cup Solutions closely partners with its customers to completely meet their cup and accessory needs by offering custom cup accessories, inventory warehousing, custom design and distribution. Morrison Point of Purchase is a one‐stop‐shop for convenience store point‐of purchase marketing and promotional signage.

The Morrison Group’s acquisition of Creative Container, Inc., an Oklahoma City‐based custom cup printing company, was finalized in May 2019. After nearly one year of talks, approximately 14 new employees joined The Morrison Group, bringing its total to 35.

“With the recent acquisition of Creative Container, Inc. The Morrison Group is able to supply our customers with more branding options and shorter lead times,” said The Morrison Group President Ryan Morrison. “In other words, the joining of these two companies will make having your own customized artwork on your restaurant or store’s cup easier than it has ever been.”

Regarding The Morrison Group’s new manufacturing and distribution facility, Morrison added “Our new facility is much better equipped to efficiently handle our manufacturing and distribution processes as well as provides us the space to grow. Externally, being based out of Edmond and experiencing the support of the City, Chamber and community has made the location of our move one of the wisest decisions we’ve made.”
