Grant Group Commercial Real Estate recently broke ground on Park 17 at the northwest corner of 5th and Littler in downtown Edmond. The 3-story building will include 5,275-square-feet of retail and 17 multi-family units.
“We are excited to finally be moving forward on this project after approximately 24 months of planning,” said Grant Group Commercial Real Estate Principals Chris Anderson, CCIM, and Casey Massegee, CCIM. “We are already receiving great leasing activity and have executed our first lease consisting of 50 percent of the first floor to a popular restaurant concept that will be new to Edmond.”
Key Construction will handle construction of the approximately 20,000-square-foot mixed-use project. The expected completion date is September 2019.
“We are excited about this project and being a part of the growth in Edmond,” said Key Construction Oklahoma City Division President Bryce Thompson. “This is a great team we have and will be a lot of fun to build.”
The Edmond Economic Development Authority (EEDA) Board of Trustees approved an incentive request from Grant Group Commercial Real Estate for assistance with utility line relocation costs for the Park 17 project in July 2018.
“This first of its kind development in downtown Edmond will bring a modern urban living option and falls in line with the goals of the Downtown Master Plan,” said EEDA Executive Director Janet Yowell.
