Edmond Public Schools

The Edmond Public School System has experienced substantial growth over the past thirty-five years. From a 1970 population of 4,000 students, they have grown to become Oklahoma’s third largest school district and now serve more than 25,000 students.

Edmond’s schools are innovative and comprehensive, with gifted programs and special education services. In each of the city’s elementary schools, a media center is provided, along with instructional specialists in music, art, physical education and gifted education.

All three of Edmond’s high schools are listed among America’s Best High Schools by Newsweek. Edmond’s high schools provide a wide array of subjects beyond the required curriculum, including fine arts, business and vocational education, foreign languages, computer technology and professional internships.
