EEDA announces 2015 Featured Business of the Year

The Edmond Economic Development Authority (EEDA) recently announced Optique Vision Center as the 2015 Featured Business of the Year, chosen by the readers of EEDA’s business newsletter, The Arrow.

“It is an honor to be nominated with such a wonderful group of local businesses,” said Dr. Mike Grindstaff, owner of Optique Vision Center. “Providing the very best eye care and eyewear to the community is our passion.  We are excited for what the future holds and the continued economic growth of Edmond.”

Optique Vision Center offers eye health examinations using state-of-the-art technology, lenses and contacts from the best materials available, and basic to high-end fashion eyewear. After more than five years in business, the company now has two locations, one at 1482 S. Bryant Avenue in Edmond and one at 7314 N. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City.

Eleven businesses were featured in The Arrow throughout the year, including Southern Okie, LLC; The Morrison Group; EVOKE; Crest Foods; Edmond Wine Shop; Matt Wilson Custom Homes, LLC; FIT CIRCLE; Vital Outdoor Advertising; Petra Industries, LLC; and Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG).

All eleven businesses were presented with a keepsake arrow award during the EEDA’s 4o’clock 4cast event, held Thursday, Jan. 28 at the University of Central Oklahoma Nigh University Center.
