The Edmond Economic Development Authority (EEDA) recently featured Edmond-based Back40 Design in the January 2016 issue of EEDA’s newsletter, The Arrow. The Arrow is a monthly newsletter emailed to approximately 2,000 subscribers. Featured businesses also receive a commemorative arrow to recognize their participation.
“The EEDA is always looking for ways to celebrate Edmond businesses,” EEDA Associate Director Toni Weinmeister said. “The Arrow was created with that in mind, as an outlet for us to further support and promote the local business community.”
Established in 2000, Back40 Design is a designer-owned digital design firm specializing in branding, web development and online marketing. The company also owns and publishes Outlook Magazine, a direct-mail magazine distributed to 50,000 Edmond and North OKC homes monthly. The publication started in 2005 and just celebrated 10 years of publishing.
“There was never any question on where to locate Back40; Edmond is where we wanted to be,” Back40 Design President Dave Miller said. “I appreciate any opportunity to tell the Back40 story and was honored to be a Featured Business in The Arrow.”

The EEDA exists to offer resources that stimulate the growth of Edmond’s economy by creating and maintaining an optimum environment for both new and existing businesses, offering services that facilitate the growth and expansion of those businesses and generating opportunities to increase the sales tax base of the city of Edmond.
